Sapino's Extra Syrup of Yesteryear is made from a Native American formulation composed of balsam fir gum and prickly ash conifer extracts.

Extra Syrup of Yesteryear is particularly effective in relieving sore throats, coughs, and other symptoms caused by the flu or colds.

Sapino Extra Syrup of Yesteryear is made from Canadian balsam fir and natural ingredients.

Medicinal Ingredients (per 5 ml):

Balsam fir gum (Abies balsamea, resin): 58.0 mg
Red spruce extract 1:1 (Picea rubens, bark): 82.7 mg
Eastern hemlock extract 1:1 (Tsuga canadensis, bark): 82.7 mg
Prickly ash extract 5:1 (Zanthoxylum americanum, bark): 16.54 mg, equivalent to 82.7 mg.

Nonmedicinal Ingredients:

Water, molasses, alcohol, acacia.

Adult Dosage:

For adults: 1 tablespoon (15 ml) 3 to 4 times daily.
For children 9 years and older: 1 teaspoon (5 ml) 2 to 3 times daily. Wait at least 4 hours between doses.

Directions for Use:

Shake well before use.

Duration of Use:

Consult a healthcare professional if symptoms persist or worsen for more than 7 days.

Caution:

This product may be a laxative. If diarrhea occurs, reduce the dosage for a few days. Do not take if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not take if you are taking astringents or anticoagulants, or in cases of acute inflammation of the respiratory tract accompanied by irritation or sensitivity of the mucous membranes. Do not take if you suffer from gastric or intestinal disorders or inflammation of the gastrointestinal system.
